How do I know my requests have been received?

When you receive your confirmation number, your request has been confirmed by ExpressAddress. Each participating organization receives new requests from ExpressAddress several times a day.

We take every precaution possible to ensure security with our service. Our security measures include:

• All data is placed on a secure server. Your information is encrypted using the highest security standards.
• Your information will be provided only to the organizations you have selected and it will not be sold or distributed to any other companies or individuals.

How do I use the site?
ExpressAddress lets you inform the organizations about your move with no postage costs or no waiting on hold. It's also completely FREE.
It's an easy process:

1. Choose the type of request you wish to make to each of the participating organizations. You can select to sign up for service; disconnect service, or transfer your service from one address to another, or change your address. You may choose a different action for each of the participating organizations.
2. Fill in general information required by all of the companies (such as your name and contact information, and the addresses you are moving into or out of).
3. Fill in additional information required by the company you selected (such as the type of phone plan you would like)
4. Finally, you will have an opportunity to review all of the information you have entered and submit your request.
You will then receive a confirmation number indicating that your request has been received and will be forwarded to the organizations you have selected.

When do I use the site?

You can use this site any time up to two days before your move. Your request will be completed as close to the requested date as possible. If the effective date of your request is within the next two days, please be aware that it may take three to five business days before your request can be completed.

Is there a fee for using this website?

There is no fee for using this website. Your request will be subject only to the regular fees charged by the organizations to perform the type of services selected.

How does my request get to the companies I wish to notify?

After you have verified your information and received a confirmation number an electronic file is sent to the organizations you selected with only the information they required. Each organization will then process your request.

How do I make changes to my request after it's confirmed?

Once your request has been submitted, changes cannot be made on-line. If you want to make changes to a request you have submitted, please contact the individual utilities you selected to notify them of your changes. Please have your confirmation number available when you call.

What happens if I choose not to submit requested information?

Express Address works with each organization to identify the information required to make a change to their service. We then collect this information to ensure we provide the same levels of protection against fraud that the organizations themselves provide. For example, if an organization requires your account number, hospitalization number and birth date to protect you from having your address changed fraudulently, we will also require this information. We will never request information that is not necessary to complete that change. You may withhold any information that you wish, but we will not be able to update the organizations that required this data.
