City of Regina

The City of Regina is committed to providing superior water, sewer, and storm water management services to its citizens. The City's Water and Sewer Utility is responsible for monitoring, treating and distributing over 24 million cubic metres of water to its residents annually. This process includes monitoring water quality, maintaining and operating reservoirs, pumping stations, the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant and 800 kilometres of pipelines that supply and distribute water from the Treatment Plant to customers. The City is also one of the first major cities in Canada to provide automated water meter reading to all of its customers.

In addition, the Utility is also responsible for collecting, treating, and disposing of storm water, sanitary sewage, and residual solids. Over 700 kilometres of pipe carry the City's wastewater and storm water to a modern, tertiary wastewater treatment plant where it is treated. Both the plant and the sewage system is maintained and operated by the Utility.

City of Saskatoon

The City of Saskatoon provides electrical, water, sewer and storm water management services through its utilities.

The electric utility provides electrical service to the area of Saskatoon which lies generally within the 1958 City boundary. Bulk electrical power is purchased from the provincial crown utility, SaskPower. Through a system of substations, distribution lines and transformers, the power is supplied to customers on demand at locations and at voltages appropriate to their needs. The Utility also maintains the street lighting system.

Saskatoon is responsible for treating and distributing a safe and assured supply of water to the citizens of Saskatoon and surrounding communities. We are engaged in managing, operating, and maintaining the water treatment plant, reservoirs, and distribution systems, and in providing support services which include water quality monitoring, water research, long range planning and design, and financing. In addition, the City collects, treats and disposes of sanitary sewage and its residual solids as well as maintains the repairs to the storm water collection systems.

City of Weyburn

The City of Weyburn's vision is to be a regional centre for southeast Saskatchewan that provides high quality services and opportunities for our community.

The City of Weyburn is dedicated to providing safe drinking water, collecting and treating waste water and providing waste management and recycling for its residents. The City of Weyburn's water distribution system includes 88 kilometers of water mains and approximately 4000 individual service connections. Our automated water reading system ensures you will receive monthly billing for your actual water usage. Additional services such as the EyeOnWater app ensures you are quickly notified when a leak is detected in your home, helping to keep your water bill low and your home safe.

Regina Public Library

Enriching quality of life in Regina for over 100 years.

Since 1909, Regina Public Library (RPL) has provided open access to materials, programs and services that encourage cultural, economic, educational and recreational development.

Rural Municipality of Edenwold No. 158

The Rural Municipality of Edenwold No. 158 was incorporated as a Rural Municipality in 1912. The RM is located in Treaty 4 territory in southeastern Saskatchewan, Canada, just 10 km east of the City of Regina. Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board

The Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) operates as a legislated and independent tribunal, reporting to the legislature of Saskatchewan through the Minister of Advanced Education, Employment and Labour. The Workers' Compensation Act, 1979 (the Act), provides the WCB's operating authority and mandate. Numerous amendments have been made to the Act since 1979.

The WCB provides workplace injury insurance to Saskatchewan businesses covered by the Act, and their employees. Workers' compensation is a no-fault system that protects employers and workers against the result of work injuries. The system has brought stability to the Saskatchewan workplace for over 80 years, providing coverage at a competitive cost and protecting workers and employers against the risks and uncertainties of litigation.

One of the WCB's principal goals is to help Saskatchewan workers and their families recover from workplace injuries. Assistance can take the form of income replacement, medical treatment, and vocational rehabilitation. In recent years, the WCB's mandate has evolved to include the importance of safety and injury prevention programming, and returning an injured worker to suitable employment as soon as it is medically safe to do so.

The WCB raises funds for its operations through premiums paid by employers and from market returns on its investments.
